Good Deals is the UK's largest annual social investment and social enterprise conference. Matter&Co has been producing and delivering Good Deals for the past eight years, pulling together a fantastic selection of speakers, finding a magnificient venue and crafting the brand around a new theme every year. 

 

 

THE TASK:

In 2014, the seventh year of the event, the theme for Good Deals was "Playtime's Over" – time for social investment to leave its infancy and stand on its own two feet. The theme required a fresh brand to match, alongside excellent production, programming and marketing, to maintain the event's position as the UK’s leading annual social investment conference.

 

 

OUR SOLUTION:

Taking the theme of “Playtime’s Over”, the production team built the programme and marketing around the idea that for all the key audiences involved in social investment and social innovation – from investors to corporates – it was time to stop playing with the notion of social business and build a serious market for change. The design team complemented this with an edgy and challenging new brand, combining sharp colourful lines with portrait photographs of outspoken speakers.
